 Robin's
enjoyed dancing since her youth. Her first
experience with dance competition occurred in a
fifth grade talent contest -- winning a second
place ribbon with her own original choreography!
However, she didn't really tap into her natural
talent until junior high and high school when she
was active in Girls' Choir, Cheerleading,
Marching Band (as a "flag girl"), and
Show Choir.
She fell (gracefully) back into
dancing over ten years later when a friend had
her tag along to a local country bar where they
danced country two-step, swing, hustle, cha-cha
and line dances. She knew these dances existed
and she knew there were studios where people
danced ballroom, but she hadn't known a community
of dancers existed who would often meet at
various venues to dance. She didn't know how easy
it could be to learn, and she hadn't known how
much fun it could be!
Robin quickly picked up the dances
through local lessons and practice. She was also
"discovered" by dance coaches and
started training with them. Within two years of
starting to dance, Robin was winning Gold medals
and top placements in her division.
It remains important to Robin to
continue competing in her division and moving up.
It challenges her to work on her dancing at all
times and to serve as a positive example to her
students. Eight years later, she is dancing
Pro-Am competitions with her students who are now
winning Gold medals of their own!
Robin is active
in promoting dance in her community by teaching,
hosting dances and volunteering. If you would

her, please feel free to write to her today!
