The most important two reasons are understanding music that best fits social dancing and knowing the clientele who attend the dances (like her monthly dance, The 4th Swing). Robin has a large array of music for all styles of dance. She has her own equipment and can set up in any sort of space. Robin is available to deejay private parties and social dances. If you have a special event for which you'd like a choreographed routine (i.e., a bride & groom's first dance), Robin can work with you on music selection, music editing (if needed), and choreography to best suit your ability and desires. If interested, please contact Robin for rates. MUSIC EDITING: As a deejay and choreographer know, a lot of music doesn't suit the occasion straight out of the jewel case. Sometimes a piece of music must be shortened or portions must be edited out. Robin has a great skill for digitally editing music which she has done for music at her dances and for award-winning dance routines. Please contact Robin for more details. VIDEOGRAPHY: Robin makes no claim to be a professional videographer! But if you have a small event (such as a dance performance), and you don't want to pay the high costs of a professional videographer, Robin can tape the event and produce a dvd for your keepsake.
